Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a data analytics professional to lead analysis of infrastructure and platform data, delivering insights that improve resiliency, performance, and operational excellence.

You will partner with Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, Architecture, Operations, SRE, and Technology Leadership to translate data into actionable decisions. Using SQL, Python, Alteryx, APIs, and Power BI, you will build scalable analytics solutions, examine telemetry and monitoring data, and

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure Analytics, Operational Intelligence, Reliability Analytics, Capacity Planning, and Performance Analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL for complex data analysis, reporting, data modeling, and analytical solution development.
• Hands-on Python for data analytics, automation, anomaly detection, and large-scale data transformation.
• Experience developing workflows using Alteryx, including data validation, reconciliation, and quality management.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, data integration, ETL processes, and enterprise data platforms.
• Deep understanding of cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure and related platforms.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of infrastructure data to identify trends, risks, and capacity constraints.
• Develop KPIs for health, reliability, performance, and capacity.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Ops teams to improve service stability.
• Support design and modernization by evaluating scalability and cost impacts.
• Create anomaly detection and root cause methodologies for incidents.
• Build analytics solutions with SQL, Python, Alteryx, APIs and Power BI.
