Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Insights & Reporting Analyst to design, develop, and manage enterprise reporting and analytics. You will integrate data from multiple sources, perform advanced analysis, and deliver actionable insights to influence business decisions for customers and colleagues.

You will partner with teams across the bank, ensure governance and compliance, and leverage Power BI, Power Automate, SAS, and Databricks to automate processes and drive data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Four to five years of data analysis experience.
• Experience in SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online Administration.
• Master’s degree.
• Experience in SAS.
• Experience in ETL design, dataflows, semantic models, SSIS packages, AutoSys, or Alteryx.
• Power BI certification or training (DAX, M-Query, Visual Design).
• Experience in statistical modeling, forecasting, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience in financial services.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with Visio, process mapping, and automating processes with Power Automate.
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret results for insights.
• Ability to mine data, analyze data, and present insights or concise visuals.
• Strong decision-making, consulting, research, systems-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization, product management, and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on storytelling and explaining concepts in simple terms.
• Microsoft Power Platform certification or training.
• SQL Server, SAS, SharePoint Online, AutoSys, Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure certification or training.
• Experience with enterprise data governance programs.
• Experience supporting large-scale reporting and analytics environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and administration of enterprise reporting, analytics, data integration, and process automation solutions.
• Acquire data from multiple sources to perform analysis and reporting.
• Identify trends or patterns in complex data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Present data clearly to enable quick understanding and data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with partners to provide a holistic view of analysis and monitor results.
• Ensure data acquisition and results comply with company standards.
