Job summary

The Falkirk Mining Company is seeking an Information Systems intern for a 3‑month or 8‑month program running May 2027 through August 2027 or December 2027. The role focuses on IT project support, application design, and infrastructure tasks to gain real-world experience in a production environment.

You'll work with our IS team on developing solutions, network and server administration, workstation setup, and field-technology support while conforming to MSHA and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited Information Systems or related program and in good academic standing.
• Completed a portion of college and intends to finish degree.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications to advance business processes.
• Network and server administration tasks.
• Workstation configuration and deployment.
• Support field technologies (drones, GPS, real-time monitoring, radios, etc.).
• Maintain computer equipment and manage software licenses.
