Job summary

Widen the Net | B Corp™ in Santa Monica is seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to be the sole engineer on site. You will troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and Mac OS, manage AD, network gear, cloud storage, and backups, and provide VIP support to site leaders and executives.

You’ll handle basic system administration, ticketing with Jira, and documentation, while coordinating with modern workspace tools like Okta, MDM, Google Workspace, Slack, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working as IT support/service desk/IT support engineer.
• Working knowledge in troubleshooting Linux (Red Hat) / Windows
• Basic system admin experience is a plus
• Excellent client facing and problem solving skills, creative thinking and sociable personality

Responsibilities

Our client is a global creative media agency based in LA.

We are looking for an IT support engineer to support their end users based in Santa Monica:

• Sole IT support engineer on site providing technical solutions, troubleshooting, identifying root causes. Support mostly Windows and Linux OS with some Mac OS, AD, IT networks, switches and routers, cloud storage and backups, hardware issues, CPU;
• Support/basic admin console around modern digital workspace technologies such as MDM, Okta, Atlassian, Slack, Confluence, Google Workspace
• Basic system admin and configuration
• Help tickets backlogs, manage ticketing queues using Jira and escalations;
• Documentations and IT project work
• VIP support for site leaders and c-executive such as technical requirements discussion and providing IT solutions/advice

Initially 12 months full time W2 contract. 5 days on site in Santa Monica. Monday to Friday, standard business hours.

Requirements:
