Swoon is seeking an IT Recruiter who thrives on building relationships and moving quickly to place tech professionals.

You’ll support multiple clients across contract and direct-hire roles, developing pipelines via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking, while partnering with hiring teams to understand needs and priorities. This role centers on impactful hiring with earnings potential through commissions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT recruiting experience in staffing agencies.
• Experience recruiting for contract and direct hire roles.
• Strong understanding of technology roles beyond resume keywords.

• Availability to work onsite three days per week in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Own the recruiting process from sourcing and screening through interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement.
• Recruit technology professionals for contract and direct hire roles across multiple client accounts.
• Build strong candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and creative outreach.
• Partner with account managers and hiring teams to understand technical requirements, business needs, and hiring priorities.
• Conduct candidate conversations that assess technical experience, career goals, and alignment with each opportunity.
• Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the hiring process.
• Balance competing searches while maintaining accurate recruiting activity and candidate records.
• Work toward recruiting goals tied to quality submissions, interviews, and placements.

In this role, you’ll support multiple clients across both contract and direct hire opportunities, giving you variety in your searches and the chance to build lasting relationships with technology professionals. What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of IT recruiting experience, ideally within a staffing agency supporting multiple clients.
• Experience recruiting for both contract and direct hire placements.
• A strong understanding of technology roles and the ability to ask questions beyond the keywords on a resume.
• Confidence sourcing passive talent, building relationships, and navigating compensation conversations.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to shift priorities as client needs change.
