We’re partnering with a leading life sciences organization to hire a Lab Computing Engineer who operates at the intersection of IT and laboratory environments. This is a hands‑on role supporting systems connected to scientific instrumentation in a regulated (GxP) setting.

This is not a traditional desktop support or CSV‑focused role, we’re looking for someone who understands how technology integrates within laboratory operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide technical support for laboratory systems, including computers connected to scientific instruments
• Coordinate installation, relocation, and decommissioning of lab equipment from an IT perspective
• Support and maintain Windows‑based environments, including security configurations
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards through reporting and adherence programs
• Serve as a technical point of contact for vendors, field engineers, and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to system validation efforts and change management processes
• Develop and maintain documentation (procedures, troubleshooting guides, best practices)
• Track and manage inventory of lab hardware, software, and related assets
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as required

Background
