Job summary

RSI in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking an Information Governance Manager to lead the Information Governance Program across Legacy Management, including information architecture, taxonomy management, SharePoint governance, and records lifecycle.

This full-time, exempt role offers a salary range of $115,000 to $145,000 per year based on education and experience, with travel under 20%. A Bachelor's degree and 7 years of governance experience are required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7 years of Information Governance experience.
• 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in highly regulated environments or with government/federal contractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Information Governance personnel across information governance, knowledge management, taxonomy, and business requirements.
• Establish priorities, objectives, workload management, and development plans for program goals.
• Develop and implement the Information Governance Framework, policies, standards, and processes.
• Lead governance councils and stakeholder forums to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Oversee enterprise information lifecycle management, retention, and classification practices.
• Monitor compliance with DOE directives, regulations, and privacy requirements.
• Provide strategic oversight of taxonomy, metadata, and information architecture initiatives.
• Partner with business units to maintain governance for SharePoint Online, MS 365, and related platforms.
• Support migration initiatives with governance and information architecture requirements.
• Develop knowledge management strategies to promote learning and knowledge preservation.
