Job summary

RSI EnTech, LLC is seeking an Information Governance Manager in Morgantown, WV, to lead the program across governance, taxonomy, and information lifecycle. The role includes directing a multidisciplinary team, shaping enterprise standards, and ensuring information assets remain secure, accessible, and compliant with organizational goals.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 7 years of governance experience, with 3 years of leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Library Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or related field.
7 years of relevant experience Information Governance / Knowledge Management / Records Management experience.
3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience supporting highly regulated environments, government organizations, or federal contractors is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise Information Governance personnel for information governance, knowledge management, architecture, taxonomy management, and business requirements.
Set priorities, objectives, workload processes, and development plans to ensure program goals.
Develop and continuously improve Information Governance Frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures.
Lead governance bodies and stakeholder forums to drive alignment and decision-making.
Oversee enterprise information lifecycle management including creation, classification, storage, retention, and disposition.
Monitor compliance with DOE directives, regulations, records management, privacy, and policies.
Provide strategic oversight of taxonomy, metadata, and information architecture initiatives.
Partner with business units to maintain governance standards for SharePoint Online, MS 365, and related platforms.
Support enterprise migrations with governance, metadata, retention, and records management considered.
Develop knowledge management strategies and tools to promote collaboration and preserve institutional knowledge.
Conduct governance assessments and risk evaluations to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with IT, Data Management, Cyber Security, Records Management, and stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant information assets.
