Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking an Information Services Analyst to blend business analysis with quality assurance across Agile software initiatives. The role focuses on eliciting requirements, modeling workflows, and validating designs while ensuring accessibility and data integrity.

The candidate will design test plans, execute manual and automated tests, and support CI/CD pipelines. Strong SQL skills and experience with WCAG/508 accessibility testing are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least two (2) years of progressive experience with requirements specification and quality assurance for software development projects.
• Knowledge of Agile software development process and ability to participate actively in meetings and ticket reviews.
• Ability to elicit complex requirements from customers and document results of systematic, structured tests and processes.
• Exemplary customer service with audience-appropriate communication.
• Understanding of application object models and relational database concepts for communicating requirements to technical staff.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot straightforward SQL queries joining multiple tables and views.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with Section 508 accessibility testing tools and WCAG success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business issues, define requirements, application design, and recommend automated systems and protocols to solve organizational information issues.
• Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements.
• Create swim-lane workflow diagrams and validate developers' wireframes against documented workflows and requirements.
• Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Prepare user guides, process flow charts, training materials, and deliver training.
• Review data collection instruments for adherence to standards and best practices using ArborLinkCore functionality.
• Collaborate with data analysts and users to improve data collection and user experience during studies.
• Leverage AI (e.g. Claude) as a tool for business development and solutions.
