Job summary

5WPR seeks a Director, Influencer & Creator Strategy to lead influencer and creator work across the agency, partnering with senior leadership on strategy and client programs. The role entails owning programs end-to-end, mentoring junior teammates, and driving growth of our influencer capabilities while collaborating across PR, digital, and social teams for integrated campaigns.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in influencer marketing or creator strategy with hands-on experience
• Agency background with multiple clients and priorities
• Ability to lead workstreams independently and collaborate with senior leadership
• Deep understanding of influencer lifecycle: strategy, vetting, outreach, negotiation, content, activation, measurement
• Strong strategic thinking translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Experience leading client conversations and presenting results
• Excellent project and program management with stakeholder coordination

Responsibilities

• Independently lead influencer and creator workstreams aligned with client objectives
• Translate briefs and cultural trends into creator strategies and program approaches
• Partner with senior leadership on development of integrated influencer programs
• Apply agency frameworks and best practices across client work
• Bring forward creator trends and opportunities to strengthen programs
• Collaborate with PR, social, paid media, and other teams for integrated campaigns
• Serve as day-to-day lead for programs, building relationships with clients and internal teams
• Lead client conversations, presentations, and recommendations
• Oversee planning through outreach, content development, activation, and reporting
• Provide strategic guidance and escalate to senior leadership when needed
• Ensure work is strategically sound and aligned with client objectives
• Use performance insights to identify optimization opportunities
• Mentor junior team members and provide clear direction
• Support new business pitches with influencer or creator recommendations
