Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is seeking a Medical Director (Infectious Disease) for our outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. You will join a mission-driven team delivering high-quality care.

This role requires MD/DO, board certification, active license, DEA and Furnishing license, with capacity to see 14–18 patients daily and no night shifts. The position offers competitive compensation with benefits and relocation if needed. On-site work.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active state medical license.
• Board certification in Infectious Disease preferred.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient care and meet productivity targets.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and maintain productivity.
• Complete same-day or 72-hour documentation with accurate coding.
• Supervise mid-level providers and perform chart reviews as needed.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage per schedule.
• Participate in retention efforts and care coordination.
