Job summary

KingRecruitingServices in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a Medical Director (Infectious Disease) for an outpatient facility. You will provide leadership in patient care, manage 14–18 daily visits, and collaborate with a full care team in a mission-driven clinic.

The role requires MD/DO with active license, DEA and Furnishing license, board certification preferred, and a strong emphasis on no nights or weekends. On-site with a robust benefits package and relocation help if needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active state license.
• Must have valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• CPR/BLS certification must be active.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Document visits on the same day or within 72 hours with accurate E/M codes.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs) and perform chart reviews.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage and participate in administrative time.
