Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Medical Director (Infectious Disease) for our outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. You will lead clinical operations, deliver primary care services and oversee a team to provide high-quality care for the local community.

The role requires an active MD/DO license, valid DEA and Furnishing license, and outpatient primary care experience. Expect 14–18 patient visits per day with no night or weekend duties and generous compensation.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active state medical license required.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing license required.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete same-day or 72-hour documentation and E/M billing.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs).
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage.
• Realize 4 hours of protected administrative time weekly for full-time physicians.
