Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking an Infection Preventionist for a nursing center in Cedar Grove, NJ. The role focuses on IPCP execution, outbreak management, and employee health across multiple locations.

Requirements include RN licensure, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and at least three years of nursing experience. Completion of specialty infection prevention training within 90 days is required. Flexible evening/night scheduling is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
• A minimum of three years full-time nursing experience is required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to meet evening/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the nursing center's Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) and serves as practitioner, educator and consultant across locations.
• Provide infection prevention and control training during new hire orientation.
• Develop and implement education programs in response to identified infection control needs from QAPI, rounding or quality measures.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain the IPCP to ensure safe care and infection prevention.
