Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking an Infection Preventionist to oversee the Nursing Center's IPCP across multiple locations. The role emphasizes infection prevention, surveillance, outbreak management, and employee health, while acting as a practitioner and educator for staff.

The candidate will lead new hire orientation on infection prevention, develop education programs, and maintain IPCP to ensure high-quality patient care and disease prevention in the nursing center.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire
• A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience is required
• Must be able to work flexible hours in order to meet with employees working evening and night shifts

Responsibilities

• Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) oversight across locations; acts as practitioner, resource, consultant, educator and facilitator
• Support new hire orientation with infection prevention and control training
• Develop, implement and maintain IPCP to ensure quality patient care and prevention of infections

Education

RN licensure

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
