Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking an Infection Preventionist (IP) to lead the nursing center's IPCP and act as a staff resource across multiple locations. Responsibilities focus on infection prevention, outbreak management, and employee health.

The role requires an RN licensure and specialized IPC training within 90 days of hire, with at least three years of nursing experience and flexibility to accommodate evening and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years full-time nursing experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet with evening/night shift staff.

Responsibilities

• Support IPCP by training new hires in infection prevention and control.
• Develop and implement education programs in response to infection control needs identified via QAPI or center metrics.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain IPCP to ensure quality patient care related to infections and communicable diseases.
