Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Huntingdon Valley, PA is seeking an Infection Preventionist to lead the nursing center's Infection Prevention and Control Program. The IP will educate staff, monitor IPCP activities, manage outbreaks, and support employee health across locations.

The role requires RN licensure, 3+ years nursing experience, and completion of specialized infection control training within 90 days of hire, with flexible evening/night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
• A minimum of three years full-time nursing experience is required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support IPC training for newly hired employees.
• Create and implement infection control education programs based on needs.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain the Infection Prevention and Control Program.
