Job summary

Oceanside Center in New Hampshire is hiring an Infection Preventionist (IP) to lead the nursing center's Infection Prevention and Control Program, act as a practitioner, resource and educator across locations, and focus on infection prevention activities, surveillance, outbreak management, and employee health.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, and at least three years of nursing experience with specialized IP training within 90 days of hire; the position is full time (32 hours)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years full-time nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Support new hire orientation with infection prevention and control training.
• Create and implement education programs in response to identified infection control needs.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain IPCP to ensure IPC in patient care.
