Job summary

Oceanside Center is hiring an Infection Preventionist (IP) to lead the IPCP and serve as a knowledgeable resource, educator and facilitator for staff across locations.

The IP will focus on infection prevention, surveillance, outbreak management and employee health while supporting new hires and education programs. This full-time, 32-hour role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a meaningful opportunity to impact resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Support new hire orientation by providing infection prevention training for newly hired employees.
• Create and implement IPC education programs in response to identified infection control needs.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain IPCP to ensure quality of patient care related to infections.
