Job summary

AristaCare at Cherry Hill is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Preventionist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Cherry Hill, NJ. This role combines nursing leadership with infection prevention responsibilities in a 120-bed facility.

The ideal candidate will hold an active NJ RN license, IP certification (or willingness to obtain), and at least 2 years as an ADON or Nursing Supervisor in SNF/LTC settings.

Qualifications

• RN license active in New Jersey is required.
• Infection Preventionist (IP) certification or willingness to obtain IP certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Nursing Supervisor in a SNF/LTC setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in the day-to-day management of the nursing department.
• Lead the facility's infection prevention and control program as the designated Infection Preventionist (IP).
• Monitor, track, and report infection control data and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Educate and support nursing staff on infection prevention practices and clinical standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and clinical oversight alongside the nursing leadership team.

AristaCare at Cherry Hill is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Preventionist to join our nursing leadership team. Our 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Cherry Hill, NJ provides post-hospital rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care, along with specialty programs in respiratory care, cardiac and orthopedic rehab, and wound management. The ADON / Infection Preventionist plays a central role in the clinical operation of the building, and we're looking for someone ready to step into that role and own it.

This Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Preventionist position requires prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care setting — candidates without nursing home experience will not be considered. If you're an experienced ADON, or a Nursing Supervisor ready to move up into an ADON / Infection Preventionist role, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
