Job summary

AristaCare at Cherry Hill is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Preventionist to support the DON, lead the infection prevention program, and ensure compliance with infection control standards.

The role requires an active New Jersey RN license, IP certification (or willingness to obtain), and at least 2 years of ADON or Nursing Supervisor experience in a SNF/LTC setting. This is a leadership position within a well-established AristaCare facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Infection Preventionist certification, or willingness to obtain IP certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Nursing Supervisor in a SNF/LTC setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in day-to-day management of the nursing department.
• Lead the facility's infection prevention and control program as Infection Preventionist (IP).
• Monitor, track, and report infection control data and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Educate and support nursing staff on infection prevention practices and clinical standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and clinical oversight with the nursing leadership team.
