AristaCare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in leading our nursing department. The ADON will play a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting clinical excellence within the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or sub-acute setting.
• PCC certification.
• Infection Prevention (IP) experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing and managing daily nursing operations.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and promote regulatory readiness.
• Promote and maintain high standards of resident-centered care.
• Plan, organize, and conduct staff training programs and clinical in-services.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives.

• Support infection control oversight and regulatory readiness
• Plan, organize, and conduct staff training programs and clinical in-services
• Maintain effective communication across all levels of nursing staff
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet resident care needs
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
• Oversee staff competency evaluations and implement corrective action plans when necessary

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in a clinical setting
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or sub-acute setting
• PCC certification
