Job summary

Mountain View Post Acute in Washington state seeks an Infection Control & Staff Development Coordinator (LPN/RN). You will lead the facility's infection prevention program, ensure compliance with CDC/OSHA and state requirements, and partner with Nursing leadership to protect residents and staff.

The role includes developing training programs, promoting continuous learning and collaborating with departments on safety, cleanup, and environmental controls. Requires WA license and nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Current, active WA license (LPN or RN)
• Nursing degree from an accredited program
• APIC certification in infection control preferred
• 2+ years nursing experience, long-term care preferred
• CPR certification current

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the facility's infection prevention and control program.
• Monitor compliance with CDC, OSHA, state and facility requirements.
• Conduct rounds, monitor hand hygiene, aseptic technique, precautions and isolation practices.
• Document and report infections and communicable diseases.
• Support TB management, bloodborne pathogens, and employee health.
