• Monitor practices to ensure procedures for exposure to blood/body fluids are followed.
• Visit units to supervise isolation precautions and aseptic technique.
• Assist relevant departments in evaluating tasks involving exposure to infectious materials.
• Prepare monthly summaries of infections and corrective actions for leadership.
