Job summary

PACS Group is seeking an Infection Control Coordinator to lead and coordinate our infection control program across nursing care facilities. You will ensure compliance with CDC/OSHA guidelines, develop and update infection control precautions, and provide expertise to multiple departments in maintaining aseptic techniques.

You will also monitor adherence to policies, prepare reports for leadership, and support decontamination and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate, and direct our infection control program in nursing care facilities.
• Ensure facility follows current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations concerning infection control or universal precautions.
• Develop, maintain, and update infection control precautions and aseptic technique to fix problem areas.
• Interpret infection control policies and procedures as necessary.
• Maintain a reference library of infection control materials to aid day-to-day needs.
