Job summary

PACS Group is seeking an Infection Control Nurse in Florida to lead and coordinate the facility's infection control program. You will ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, and local guidelines, develop aseptic techniques, and provide guidance to staff and departments to prevent infections.

Regular reporting to Nursing Services and Administrator is required. The role involves rounds, data analysis of infection trends, and collaboration with laboratory services to optimize patient safety and care

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active RN license in the state.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate the facility infection control program.
• Maintain policies, training, and reports for infection prevention.
• Lead infection control committee activities and coordinate with nursing staff.
