Job summary

The Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, Kentucky seeks a Staff Educator to support infection control and staff education across inpatient and outpatient services. You will help design training events, assist the CNO, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment for patients of all ages.

This role emphasizes trauma-informed care, ongoing professional development, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based practices and maintain compliance with health

Qualifications

• RN with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current KY nursing licensure required.
• Minimum three years of experience in behavioral health or acute care.
• Trauma-informed care experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff trainings address changes in health care management and technology.
• Design education programs to enhance staff retention.
• Administer and ensure compliance with TB skin tests and flu vaccine.
• Participate in antibiotic stewardship; run reports and follow up with providers.
