Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to serve infants and toddlers through home-based Early Intervention.

You will conduct developmental assessments, provide therapy, and collaborate with families to support developmental goals in natural environments. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $75-$85, flexible schedules and locations, a sign-on bonus up to $1000, and professional support.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention preferred).
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide occupational therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and ensure progress Generalization.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in homes, daycare centers and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
