Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver home-based early intervention services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

You will assess, coach families, and implement strategies in the child’s natural environment, including homes and community settings. Licensure in California is required, with pediatric EI experience preferred, and bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Pediatric therapy experience, especially Early Intervention.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with families to develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and ensure progress generalization.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment: homes, daycare centers, and community settings.
• Perform re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
