Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers in home and community settings. You will assess developmental needs, design therapy plans, and coach families to support progress in natural environments.

The role emphasizes a parent coaching model, IFSP alignment, and bilingual capabilities (Spanish a plus), with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment to help families achieve developmental benchmarks.

Qualifications

• California Occupational Therapy license is required.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow IFSP and collaborate with families to reach developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child's natural environment, including homes and community settings.
• Perform re-assessments and write bi-annual progress reports.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality of child and family information.
