Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. in California seeks a flexible Occupational Therapist to deliver home-based Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers, partnering with families in their natural environments.

The role involves conducting developmental assessments, following IFSPs, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team; a California OT license is required, pediatric EI experience preferred, and Spanish bilingual creates bonus.

Qualifications

• California Occupational Therapy license.
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred).
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with families to develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycare centers, community settings).
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA/state/federal regulations.
