Job summary

Upbring is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to nurture infants and toddlers in a developmentally appropriate learning environment. You will foster secure attachments, promote social-emotional growth, and implement Head Start-aligned curricula in a supportive team setting.

Responsibilities include planning activities, maintaining safety, assessing progress, and partnering with families to support school readiness. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CDA Credential in Infant and Toddler is required.
• Willing to obtain COR Advantage Assessment certification.

Responsibilities

• Establish a warm, secure, and trusting atmosphere for infants and toddlers.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities supporting cognitive, language, motor, and social development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom following health protocols.
• Monitor and document developmental progress using approved assessment tools.
• Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and nap routines respectfully.
• Engage in intentional interactions to foster language and relationship-building skills.
• Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers and provide resources for home growth.
• Collaborate with teaching teams, family advocates, and specialists to support all children.
