Job summary

Save the Children US is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to co-lead infant and toddler education activities in a collaborative classroom setting. You will develop individualized and group plans, support families, and ensure safety and compliance with Head Start standards.

The role requires a CDA or related degree, strong English communication, and a commitment to high-quality early childhood education. Health and safety are prioritized, with professional development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a CDA or an associate degree in child development, early childhood education or a related degree with coursework equivalent to early childhood education.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and with families to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized and group lesson plans for infants and toddlers to promote development.
• Guide daily classroom activities and field trips with a co-Teacher.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of children and families.
• Plan and conduct conferences with families and home visits to discuss progress.
• Ensure safety and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
