Job summary

Upbring’s Early Head Start program seeks an attentive EHS Teacher to provide a nurturing, responsive learning environment for infants and toddlers (0-3). You will implement developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with Head Start Performance Standards, build secure attachments, and partner with families to support each child’s growth and school readiness.

You will maintain compliance with licensing and health regulations while collaborating with colleagues to promote high-quality early

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CDA Credential in Infant and Toddler.
• COR Advantage Assessment certification (willing to obtain).
• CPR and First Aid certification (willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Establish a warm, secure, and trusting atmosphere for infants and toddlers.
• Plan and deliver engaging, research-based activities that support development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom following health protocols.
• Monitor and document children's developmental progress using approved assessment tools.
• Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and naptime routines, respecting each child's needs.
• Engage in intentional interactions to foster language and relationship-building skills.
• Establish strong communication with parents/caregivers, providing routine updates.
• Collaborate with teaching teams and specialists to address diverse needs.
• Adhere to Head Start standards, licensing requirements, and program policies.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
