Job summary

Upbring is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for infants and toddlers (0-3). You will focus on secure attachments, social-emotional and cognitive growth, using Head Start-aligned curricula and ongoing assessments.

You will collaborate with families, comply with licensing and safety rules, and support school readiness as part of a team of teachers, family advocates, and specialists.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CDA Credential for Infant and Toddler.
• Willing to obtain COR Advantage certification.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Establish a warm, secure environment for infants/toddlers.
• Plan engaging activities supporting development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom.
• Monitor progress using approved assessments.
• Assist with feeding, diapering, and routines.
• Engage in intentional interactions to foster language.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with teaching teams and specialists.
• Adhere to Head Start standards and licensing policies.
