Save the Children US is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to develop and implement educational plans for infants and toddlers, promoting social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in alignment with development stages. Two teachers collaborate in each classroom with support from aides and volunteers.

You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, build strong family partnerships, and report to the Center Director or Manager of Education & Inclusion.

Qualificações

• Minimum of a CDA or an associate degree in child development, early childhood education or a related degree with early childhood coursework.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with individuals and teams to provide high-quality services to children and families.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; problem solving and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop individualized and group lesson plans and activities promoting all developmental areas.
• Guide classroom activities including daily routines and field trips.
• Create safe, developmentally appropriate learning environments and manage materials.
• Conduct conferences and home visits to inform and involve families.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of children and families.
• Work with aides and volunteers to plan and implement activities.
