Job summary

Oregon State University seeks a part-time Industry Liaison Student Assistant for the School of Civil and Construction Engineering. The role supports administration, events, and communications, with 9-12 hours per week, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday (evenings possible), and coordination with the CCE Industry Liaison to fit class schedules.

Applicants must be enrolled as a student and possess strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible
• Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
• Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term

Responsibilities

• Provide administration support and handle events and communications with high customer service standards
• Input data in spreadsheets and organize electronic and hard-copy files
• Create professional slides and fliers
• Maintain OSU calendar and events on multiple platforms
• Prepare meeting materials and assist with event setup
• Provide back-up reception support and answer visitor questions
