Austin Industrial in Clinton, IA seeks an experienced QA/QC Inspector to ensure welding work is safe and compliant. You will inspect welds (MIG/TIG/arc), perform NDE when needed, and witness hydrostatic tests while coordinating with client QA teams.

Responsibilities include daily site inspections, reporting, and supervising welders to maintain safety and quality standards on industrial projects.

Formación

• 8 years' experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily inspections at project sites focusing on welding, structural, and civil work.
• Monitor progress of construction and ensure compliance with standards.
• Draft daily reports based on site observations and highlight discrepancies or safety issues.
• Coordinate with client QA personnel to address quality concerns and ensure standards.
• Oversee welders to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure successful project completion.
