Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure welding work is safe and compliant for projects in the industrial sector. You will review welding processes (MIG, TIG, arc, laser, butt) and oversee NDE, hydrostatic testing, and reporting to maintain quality and safety standards on site.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree, AWS CWI certification, 8 years of industrial experience, valid driver’s license, and TWIC card, with strong collaboration skills and ability to work in demanding

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• AWS CWI certification and NCCER.
• 8 years' industrial experience.
• Valid Driver's License and TWIC Card.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily welding and structural inspections.
• Coordinate NDE and hydrostatic testing.
• Maintain daily QA/QC reports.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and state laws.
• Collaborate with client QA personnel.
