Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a wastewater process engineer to contribute to the design of industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. The entry-level role offers rapid advancement within the company, with opportunities to lead small to midsize design tasks and perform site visits for project phases.

You will work on front end treatment concept development, detailed design, water conservation, nutrient removal, sustainability and pollution prevention, with support from Arcadis’ IWTO experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s in environmental or chemical engineering.
• Foundational knowledge in water/wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience with design drawings, P&IDs and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Function as the wastewater process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects with support from senior engineers.
• Develop drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations and technical reports.
• Coordinate with drafters and other disciplines to complete construction documents.
