Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking a wastewater process engineer for the IWTO team to design industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. You will contribute to drawings, P&IDs, specs, and technical reports and lead smaller design tasks with SME support.

This entry-level role offers exposure to front-end concept development, detailed design, sustainability, and field work across US sites and some international assignments; hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering.
• Master's degree in environmental or chemical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Function as the wastewater process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects, with support from IWTO engineers and SMEs.
• Support designs developing drawings, specs, P&IDs, calculations, technical reports, and equipment selection.
• Work with drafters/designers and coordinate with other disciplines to complete construction documents.
• Support engineering services during construction, including submittal reviews and RFI responses.
• Verify performance and conformity with drawings and specs through field inspection and testing.
• Perform process troubleshooting and optimization, pilot testing, bench-scale testing and lab analysis.
