Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Industrial Client Service Leader to grow our electric utility clients across the US. You will identify opportunities, win projects and expand key client accounts.

This role requires experience selling consulting, engineering, design-build and EPC projects to utilities, with a focus on power grid upgrades, resilience and capital programs. You will collaborate with senior project managers and our technology group to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• EPC business development experience in industrial markets with client relationships in power utilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading business development, client engagement, client service management, and strategic marketing for multiple major utility clients in the U.S.
• Developing and maintaining high value relationships with utility clients
• Growing market share by partnering with senior project managers and key technical specialists
• Collaborating with the technology group to use leading-edge tools for project delivery
