Job summary

McCloud Builders is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent for industrial tilt‑up projects in the Washington D.C. metro area, with Rockville, MD and Upper Marlboro, MD assignments.

The superintendent will oversee all field operations, ensure work complies with contract documents, project schedule and budget, and supervise all subs and on-site personnel. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
• 10+ years of site construction experience, tilt-up preferred.
• Ability to lead field operations and manage safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site safety and enforce client quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate mobilization, logistics and daily site activities with subs.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and manage fair treatment.
• Develop site logistics and arrange temporary facilities/utilities.
• Schedule inspectors and testing agencies.
• Collaborate with project manager and site operations team.
• Develop and present weekly three‑week look‑ahead schedule.
• Maintain daily logs and close out punch list with owner/architect acceptance.
