Job summary

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a large ground-up industrial tilt-up project in Merced, California. This role requires hands-on field leadership, coordinating trades, driving the schedule, and upholding safety and quality standards from mobilization through closeout.

Candidates must currently reside in California and be willing to travel within the state. The ideal candidate has substantial tilt-up and industrial construction experience, with a proven ability

Qualifications

• Significant Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Heavy ground-up concrete tilt-up experience required.
• Strong understanding of tilt wall construction from foundation to finish.
• Industrial construction experience preferred.
• Experience delivering large industrial facilities (warehouses, manufacturing, distribution).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations for a large ground-up tilt-up project.
• Manage sitework, foundations, panel erection, steel, roofing, MEP, interiors and closeout.
• Coordinate tilt panel sequencing, crane operations, bracing, and trades.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure scopes are executed as planned.
• Lead subcontractor and safety meetings, inspections, and field coordination.
• Collaborate with PM, engineers, owners, architects and inspectors.
• Identify schedule and constructability issues early to avoid impacts.
• Maintain quality control across all phases of construction.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, manpower, equipment, and material flow.
• Ensure work adheres to plans, specs, schedule, and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
• Drive punch list, commissioning, turnover and closeout activities.
