Job summary

The Manufacturers Equipment Company (MECO) in Middletown, Ohio is seeking an Engineering Manager / Structural Engineer to lead structural engineering efforts for custom material handling and processing projects. You will perform analysis and design for steel structures, equipment supports, and foundations while guiding a design team and coordinating with customers, vendors, fabricators, and installers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE licensure in Ohio or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience in structural or civil engineering with a strong foundation in steel design.
• Experience with structural analysis software and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel structures, equipment supports, connections, and foundations.
• Develop structural models and calculations and review drawings for coordination with project requirements.
• Provide technical direction to drafting/design team and help shape MECO's design practices.
• Document existing conditions in the field and develop practical solutions when as-built drawings are missing.
• Contribute to MECO's engineering standards, calculation tools, and software workflows.
