Job summary

MECO Engineering in Jefferson City is seeking a Structural Designer to work on industrial, commercial, and select residential projects. You will develop design plans and reports, and produce construction documents using REVIT and Civil 3D while ensuring code compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
PE license or EIT preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience in industrial, commercial, and residential design.
Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Experience designing steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

Facilitate structural design for industrial, commercial, and residential projects from conception to completion using REVIT and/or Civil 3D.
Prepare design plans, specifications, reports, drawings, detailing and construction documents.
Stay updated with codes, standards, and regulations to keep designs compliant and cutting-edge.
