Job summary

Vector Controls and Automation Group in Austin, TX seeks an energetic sales professional to promote our industrial products and services to OEMs, commercial and industrial accounts. You will learn our products and articulate value propositions to customers in the territory.

You will build partnerships through visits, virtual meetings, and thoughtful outreach, manage Salesforce accounts, and collaborate with Inside Sales to support customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical field is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn all products offered by Vector CAG.
• Promote products, solutions, and services to commercial and industrial accounts within your territory.
• Find and grow new partnerships through personal visits, video conferences, emails, text messages, and telephone calls.
• Engage dormant customers by personal visits, video conferences, emails, text messages, and telephone calls.
• Work with manufacturing partners via telephone calls, emails, text messages, webinars, seminars, and on-site visits.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales Support Team to supply needed information to customer accounts in a timely manner.
• Perform site walkdowns in industrial and commercial environments.
• Manage a robust Salesforce database with accounts, account contacts, active opportunities, and projects.
• Articulate a solution strategy and work with a team to execute.
• Builds and sustains strong customer relationships by gaining customers’ trust and respect.
• Respond to queries from account managers, manufacturers, and customers in a professional and suitable manner.
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and bid specifications.
• Perform tasks independently.
