Job summary

Sudden Service is seeking a Service Center Coordinator in Saraland, Alabama. You will work with customers and field service mechanics to identify maintenance needs and advise on required services, ensuring accurate estimates and timely service.

The role requires strong organization, the ability to multi-task, and a professional demeanor when dealing with customers and suppliers. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required; experience in the parts/service industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers and Field Service Mechanics to identify required maintenance.
• Advises customers on necessary/services.
• Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore equipment as specified by customer.
• Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
• Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer.
• Processes parts and/or service sales orders on the computer for invoicing.
• Ensures paperwork for each service folder is scanned and current.
• Processes warranty claims and follows through to completion.
• Maintains database and address books for Service Center area.
• Assists in building and maintaining file system for Service Center.
• Performs duties of safety coordinator as assigned.
• Maintains files/records of SSI vehicles and prepares reports.
• Audits expenses/purchases for service personnel; reports to Manager.
• Seeks promotional materials and requests bids for best pricing.
