Kanawha Scales & Systems in Memphis, TN seeks a CDL Field Service Technician to ensure accurate operation of industrial scales. You will install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment across varied settings, ensuring compliance with standards and customer satisfaction.

You will work 24/7/365 readiness with outdoor and onsite duties, requiring strong communication and safety discipline. CDL preferred; 50 lb lifting capability and valid license are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up industrial, laboratory, and commercial scales according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform calibration procedures and adjust settings to meet precision requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair scales to minimize downtime.
• Inspect scales for wear, damage, and functionality; address issues with load cells and displays.
• Maintain detailed service and calibration records and certificates.
• Communicate with clients regarding service needs, estimates, and technical questions.
• Follow safety protocols when working with heavy equipment and electrical components.
• Ensure all serviced scales meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Track tools, parts, and equipment; replenish supplies as needed.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and scale technology advancements.
