The role requires strong troubleshooting, safety awareness, and solid communication with clients. A valid CDL is a plus, with occasional outdoor/field work and 24/7 coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, calibrating, and repairing scales.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and NIST Handbook 44 standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up industrial, laboratory, and commercial scales.
• Perform calibration procedures and adjust settings for precision.
• Maintain routine maintenance and diagnose scale issues.
• Repair scales promptly to minimize downtime.
• Document service reports and certificates of calibration.
• Communicate with customers about service needs and estimates.
• Follow safety protocols around heavy equipment and electrical components.
• Ensure scales meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Track tools, parts, and inventory; restock as needed.
